HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:
FIRST: A CONSULTATION
We'll start with an in-home consultation, typically up to an hour long, where we can chat about your specific needs, style, and what you hope to ultimately accomplish through the organizing process. Please do not try and tidy up beforehand - this is a judgment-free and completely confidential zone! Seeing the everyday reality of the space is key to determining how it can be better used.
We’ll take measurements, go over the TJS organizing process, and answer any questions that you may have about working with an organizer in your home.
Once the consultation has been completed, you'll receive a proposal outlining a recommended number of sessions for your project. Should you decide to move forward from there, we'll schedule a time to get to work!
$150 one-time fee
SECOND: ORGANIZING
Each organizing session is four hours long, with projects typically broken down into three steps:
Sorting - grouping like items together to get a sense of categories and volume (i.e. how much stuff there is)
Editing - deciding what to keep and what to donate or discard, by far the most critical step in the organizing process. The best transformations happen when we’re able to work side-by-side with our clients during the editing step so that we can guide you through the process of letting go of things you no longer need, use, or love
Organizing - implementing beautiful, functional long-term solutions (the fun part!)
LAST: MAINTAIN & ENJOY
Organization is a practice, not a process, and regular maintenance is key to future success. Our goal is to leave you with the tools, knowledge, and motivation to keep your newly organized space looking great.
For those times when life continues to get in the way, regularly scheduled Spruce Sessions are available at the client’s request.
